Title: CM15A slowlest than MC460
Post by: marineau on December 26, 2006, 01:30:04 PM
I noticed that Pc_Controller CM15A is slowlest than MiniController MC460 ... >:(

Does exist another controller(other than CM15A) that can plug to PC and that PC can control any module via PowerLine and faster that CM15A ?

Thanks

Very possible. The MiniController. Push a button and the command goes right out. CM15A has to receive the command from the USB port and then process and send the signal.

Does a CM11A is faster than CM15A to send signal to PowerLine ?

I don't know. I never compared them.
Now that I use XP the older serial port Active Home is flaky and drops communications from time to time.

Brian,

Try the USB to Serial port device that's been talked about here. It seems to solve the CM11A dropout problem for follks who have XP and don't want the AHP/CM15A.
