Title: CR13A not turning off one camera before turning on another
Post by: ccrider67 on March 13, 2007, 02:22:39 PM
My CR13A has started turning on the next camera without turning off the one before.  I end up with all the cameras on which results in a mess.  It didn't do this before; I've only had this X10 stuff for a couple of months.  Everything worked fine for a while and now nothing seems to work right anymore.  I haven't added anything new in a while -- the last thing I added was another transceiver (TM751) set to housecode L -- other transceiver is set to housecode C.

It sounds like a noise problem or a signal loss. You say you didn't add any new X10 stuff but what about any new electrical devices such as TV's and such? Have you moved any electronics around to differant outlets? I had a light you could send an On but not an Off. Was due to a power wart for a GameCube.

I have seen a switching type power supply in a cell phone charger. Kill X10 signals with noise.
