When I change something and try to save it I get an cannot save error message. This just started last week when I was updating my timers.

jelester: I have not experienced that problem before, but have you tried rebooting your PC to make sure it's not a windows thing?
Other than that, you may have a corrupt AHX file.... if you have a back up try it, if not then create a temporary new one and see if it does the same.

What I ask {PC) users to do at work (when they get an error message), is hit the "print screen key" then open "paint" (an image program in accessories), click edit, and select paste. Then save the image on the desktop.
The reason I do this is... error messages often contain information in the message (in the form of letters and numbers). That information (the letters and numbers) can be searched on the Internet (google.com works fine) by then typing in the search box: windows error message thelettersandnumbers.
Often the search results will provide you with the fix... or more information that will allow you to search and find the fix.

I have had this problem! My wife unplugged the CM15A and forgot to plug it back in! Needless to say the batteries went dead, I assumed all I needed were new batteries but that wasn't the case!
Heres the fix:
- 1: Remove the batteries from the CM15A (not sure if this needs to be done but in my case thats what I did)
. - 2: Open AHP and insure your CM15A is connected to the USB and Wall outlet
. - 3: In AHP click on tools then "Clear the interface Memory"(sometimes this is all that needs to be done)
. - 4: Now click tools and "Purge Delayed Macro Events" ( you may have a macro stuck in a loop or another problem with a macro) clearing the interface doesn't clear this!
. - 5: Now disconnect the CM15A reinsert the batteries and reconnect
. - 6: Insure all your settings are correct in "Hardware Configuration"
. - 7:And "Update Interface"
