Help, anyone, please mail me how to stop X10 pop ups from ruining my home IT experience. They always appear and slow my machine down. ARRRRRGGHHHHH.!

Pop ups, X10 and many others can be a real pain. Hopefully someone here can more directly address your pop up issue.

I'm betting your computer has tons of spyware. If you don't already have a spyware program, Kim Komando has several links for free ones at her site.  www.komando.com (http://www.komando.com) Same goes for anti virus software.

I'd recommend not  posting your email address in this or any other forums. "Spam Bots" search the web for anything in the format name@abc.com to add to their spam list. i.e. Posting your email in a message here increases your chance of getting more spam. Spam can lead to more spyware. Enough spyware can slow the fastest computer out there to a crawl.

A better option would be to register here. It's free. That way you can send and receive email without posting or giving out your email address.
