Title: XPS3 not responding to signals
Post by: reenesh on July 28, 2007, 09:52:19 PM
Hello everyone,

First thank you all for the past help, it had helped alot!

Now I am having problems with the xps3 flourcent module, where when I press the ON button it comes on, but then if I press OF, the lights don't turn off.. I have read online help documents on this and not sure which is the best approach to resolve it...do I need a noise reducer or passive phase shifter device?

THanks alot!

Assuming you are NOT referring to the button on the switch itself, it is likely the fluorescent light making noise. You would need a filter between the switch and the light,  probably mounted at the light.

Since the relay in it makes enough sound to hear. maybe try it on and off with the light disconnected. That may help and see if the light is making enough noise to stop the off signals from getting to the switch.
