Title: Total Newbie
Post by: poppops on October 04, 2007, 09:32:49 PM
Hi group,

This is my maiden voyage so be gentle. I have a house full of RS Plug-n-Power devices. What I need is a single wall switch (that can be mounted in a work box just like a standard wall switch) which is hardwired to the AC supply and that can be programmed to a specific house/unit code. Does such a device exist?

Thanks,

Walt

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the quick reply. I know about this unit, I have several. This is a receiver that replaces a standard switch. What I need is a hardwired stand-alone single switch that is a transmitter, one that will control receivers that are not wired to itself.

I hope I'm stating my case clearly, thanks.

Walt

Ther are units...and even special ones (http://www.smarthome.com/4201wr.html). I don't have any and can't advise... but keep checking back.
