Title: AD10 strange behavior
Post by: tonu01 on October 18, 2007, 02:43:32 AM
I have installed about 10 new Marmitek AD10 relay modules. Some of them doesn’t switch on (using momentary switches), some of them switch on then another module switches on etc. Using X10 commands they works fine.
Using more old (produced before2007) AD10 modules in the same places all works fine.
It seems, that new modules (produced by Marmitek at this summer) are more sensitive (may be they have higher input resistance between N and 2)?. If  I use momentary switches  with cable length about 3 meters, it works. The same module with cable about 15 meters not. If I measured voltage between N and 2 (common and momentary switch input) with old analogue tester (approx 100microamper full scale 300V) the old module gives less than 20volts, but the new one gives approx 60volts).

Has anybody the same problem? Have anybody some ideas to solve this problem? Connect some additional load (resistor 300kohm?) between N and 2 to reduce noises??

Thanks.

Hi,

I have same problems, all 5 AD10-s I bought have same strange behavior. Any solutions? Does somebody have AD10 circuit diagram available?
