Title: Vanguard run dll as app

I don't know what happened or what changed, when I click on vanguard, it will not open, i have to close the program, it gives me a error report :  run DLL as an APP, what can I do to change/fix this??
PLEASE HELP ME!!

Do an advanced search for "run dll as app"  Other Vanguard users have already had the same problem and there are posts here about the problem already.

what i did was delete any instance of x10 in regedit. delete any instance of x10 in program files. install from a zip requested via tech support. do not plug usb's in until popup that says to. i installed the wdm driver but then disabled it in devices. reboot then run!!! i tried for 2 hours then this worked. now to figure out how to get more than one camera to work.

update...after a month of being disconnected it now does this error again. I am now just fed up with this crap and no longer ever use it again. Free if anyone wants to drive to my town.

 -:)  I had the same problem after running the sofware for a while. I fixed renaming  the directory where the program store the images  ( My Images)

Has anyone tried what HunterX done? And did it work? The folder that showed up after my install is (My Images) HunterX did you mean change it from that?
