johneo: Welcome to forum. Could you state what equipment you are referring to? You posted in ActiveHome Pro but your question about TV monitor image leads one to think you have a camera issue. More details of your problem and what equipment you are using will help. Thanks.

HI, I  have an XCam 2 wide eye and a Pan n Tilt camera setup. When I turn on the cameras the monitor shows two large white and black horizontal lines and that's it. I've made sure that their both on the same channel with the monitor but still the two wide fuzzy lines.    thanks,    Johneo

I've made sure that their both on the same channel...

I assume you are referring to the A / B / C / D channel settings on the camera and on the wireless video receiver (?)

If so, there are few things that could be causing your problem:

1) Cordless 2.4GHz phones (many 5.8GHz phones transmit at 2.4GHz in one direction)

2) Wireless LAN

3) Distance between the camera and receiver and objects that may be between them.

And of course, make sure the antennas on each are pointing towards the other.

Just to add to Puck's troubleshooting:

You might try putting one cam close to the receiver say 3-6 ft in direct sight so you can eliminate any obsticles like walls etc. just to make sure all your settings are correct.  Then move them where you want them.
