I finally got hold of X10 and I must say (other than the telephone connection) I was delighted!  So delighted in fact, this is what I sent to the person who helped me:  :)

"...No "male-pig" offense meant please, but you are a SWEETHEART!!!!  As I suspected it lit right up and runs beautifully so far.  I have read many bad things about X10 in the users forum but this redeems X10 and then some! ..."

don kennedy: Thank you for posting about a good experience. Often we see posts of bad experiences but rarely does someone post with something good to say. If everyone did, I'm sure the good experiences would far out-number the bad.

Let me put in my two cents, I've delt with x10 many many times and I have to say that I've always received nothing but the best service, I'm sure the number of positive posts would certainly out number the bad ones for sure.
