Title: Problem with X10 lights and plug in timer for xmas lights

Hey guys.  Hope you can help.  I'm having trouble with the lights in my home theater.  The lights in my home theater (x10) turn on automatically and some times don't respond to commands from the remote.  I have figured out what the problem is, but I don't know how to fix it.  The problem is coming from a timer for our outside Christmas Lights (non-x10).  If I unplug the timer from the house, the issue goes away.  Plug it back in, and strange stuff starts happening again. 

So, I bought an x10 filter (model XPPF) and plugged the christmas light timer into that.  No change.  What else can I do?  Could the filter be faulty?
