Title: MS16A - It just keeps going and going and.....

Hi,

I don't know who to praise, X10 or energizer batteries, but I put two AAA batteries in this MS16a unit in October and mounted it to the wall of my Rocky Mountain home as a Dog detector that rings a chime when she is back and hoped for the best.

This morning it was 22 below zero on my back deck and the MS16 has frost all over it and a hat of snow.
And it still detects my dog and rings the chime.

It's been over a week of freezing weather here in Alberta (reaching as low as -30C some days) and my 4 outside parameter ActiveEyes are still working great as well. The last time I changed the batteries were before my vacation last June.

At these temperatures I do however get a false trigger that doesn't occur on warmer days... when the dryer is going and wind blows the warm air stream past one of the ActiveEyes.

They are definitely one of the best and most reliable X10 products that I have used; and I should also mention that all my X10 parameter cameras are holding up in this weather just as good.
