I had a idea to hide the Mini Controller (IR453) on my desk. Now I know this is a IR control but I just use the buttons to control things from my desk and for testing.
I took a pen/paper clip holder I have had around on my desk for a long time now. My kids got it for me so I could never get rid of it ;)
This was made to look like a book but had a hidden drawer in it. So all I did was replace the drawer with the IR453.
I took the book face/drawer front off the old drawer and Hot glued it to the front of the IR453. So now when I'm not using it I just slide it back in and all you see is the Pen/paper clip holder. Plus it saves alittle more space on my desk.
I guess I could have put a hole in it for the IR receiver but you would have been able o see the hole then.

Pretty Darn Cool!!!

You know, it's one thing to have all this cool stuff like controllers and microphones in every room, but to some, the mess is a big turn-off.
I have always believed that the way to successfully install an automation system is to make it invisible to the untrained eye.
This post does well at demonstrating how to hide the system. #:)
I'll bet that improves the WAF dramatically.
