Title: EagleEye sensor -dusk & dawn feature
Post by: mritorto on February 10, 2009, 04:23:44 PM
guys,

My question can you have the EagleEye sensor turn on lights only when its dark but also turn them off at certain intervals when its dark.

I am guessing if you use the dusk & dawn feature it only turns it off when the sun is up but not both

Do you have AHP with Smart Macro's?  Then yes.  Setup a macro with the motion sensor as the trigger, then setup a timer to only come on at night.  You can either have the motion sensor turn the light off or the macro.  hope this helps

Here is link to the EagleEye instructions. http://software.x10.com/pub/manuals/ms13a-ms14a-is.pdf

The Eagle Eye sends a "Unit Code" ON command when it sees motion and a Unit Code OFF command after a preset time period of no movement.
The dusk - dawn function sends unit code +1 ON when dark, and unit code + 1 OFF when light. You can use the Dusk-Dawn feature to turn other lights ON at dusk and OFF at dawn. That is all.
To get other actions you need the CM15A and AHP like hawk1 suggested.
