I have a couple of PA011/SR227 outlet receptacles installed.
1 is for a coffee pot - No problems
The other is for a lamp - The lamp doesn't stay off.
I have changed the receptacle twice and it's the same thing.
You send a signal to turn the light off, then a few minuted later it's back on.
Off/On Off/On Off/On etc. My events log shows no other signals being sent to the receptacle.
I suppose that I got a set of bad receptacles.
I've read many posts about bad X10 items. But surprisingly, this is my first.
I must say, it didn't improve my WAF one iota. Nor my just buy & install method.
Now it's back to buy - test then install. It sure would have saved my some time & effort. >*<
So remember my fellow shortcutters, take the time to do it properly.
Test before installing.

This is interesting, I would have expected the coffee pot to be turning back on.
Your lamp is not fluorescent is it? Older fluorescents will cause the "Local Control" to turn the light back on. Why X10 leaves Local Control enabled on an outlet, I will never understand (as if I understand all the other things X10 has done). rofl

Sounds like it maybe a CFL by chance?
Just looked at the X10Pro web site. The PA011 has Local Control Sensing.
So if the bulb is a CFL it very well may turn back on.
Test. Add a small 7 watt standard incandescent night light bulb to the switched outlet. Maybe a outlet tap will do. If it now stays off then your load is triggering the Local Control Sensing circuit.
