Hello,
I own a Mini Timer MT12A. When I create an event to turn on/off an appliance/lamp and set it to Security mode, it will work correctly for about a week. Then all of a sudden it seems like the MT12A forgets about the programmed setting(even though on review the setting is still in the MT12A). Usually the mini timer will turn on the lamp, but the lamp remains on well after the time frame for it to turn off. After this happens, the Mini Timer still shows the lamp as being ON. It's as if it forgot to try to turn it off. Clearing the event and programming it in again will fix the problem until it forgets again about a week later.
Is this a sign of a bad Mini Timer?
Thanks,
Brian

I don't know to much about the MT12A... But if you have an event set to "Security Mode". The times will change from what you originally set. Security Mode changes the times around so if someone is watching your house they have NO idea if your home or not. If you just set the event and leave it, then they will see a pattern in your lighting and know it's just a timer turning them on .
But I'm sure someone on here can help you in better detail

When the mini timer is working correctly it will behave as it is suppose to in Security mode. The first day will be at the time I set and the subsequent days will take place sometime within that hour window. My problem is that it is still on 5 hours after I set it to turn off. Way outside the hour window it was suppose to turn off. Thanks for the reply.

Actually, it's a MT13A. If that helps. Going to make a warraty claim to see if a new one fixes my problem.

For the MT13A, does anyone's power supply get pretty warm? Is this normal?
Thanks,
