Title: Light switch
Post by: shadowhywind on May 09, 2009, 10:03:39 PM
Not sure if this is the right section or not. I am looking for an X10 light switch. However I am looking for one that looks like a normal (toggle) lightswitch, not a push in/out one. Any ideas if anyone makes one, or where I might be able to find it? Thanks

X10 does not make them and has no plans to.  B:(

I think Leviton makes a unit like that.  Smarthome used to or still does have a "Togglelinc" which is sort of like what you want.  These units have special requirements like having a neutral line in the box, and the togglelinc (I hope that's the correct unit, [I'll search a little when I get a better internet connection]) doesn't operate exactly like the old flip switches, but looks about the same.

Dan is correct that X10 does not have what you are looking for, but the x10 protocol is still used by other companies.

Leviton makes the HCM06-1TW which is a toggle switch (the "paddle" kind of toggle).
