Post by: e39 on June 18, 2009, 12:12:35 AM
Hello Everyone , as you can notice  I'm new on this amazing home automation deal, and of course  I have a lot of questions !! Hope you guys can help me  to start in the right direction.
Well, I want to start using my Sony 3000 learning remote to control my lights , I did some research  (correct me if wrong)  I need a IR543 unit in order to do this right? then I saw a package called Firecracker, which includes a computer interface, lamp module and a transceiver ,  then  I need some dimmers !

well guys , hope  to hear some advice or recommendations  will be greatly appreciated

thanx

I do beleive the Sony 3000 will send the X10 IR... so the answer is ..yes. You will need the IR543.
