Title: Modify the new version am486 and lm465 modules from 110v to 220v
Post by: mquintas on June 23, 2009, 11:53:53 PM
Dear X10 experts,

I have purchased AM486 and lm465 110V modules and now I am trying to modify to 220V operation.

However, the instructions from Idobartana webpage: http://www.idobartana.com/hakb/index.htm seem to be for an older one.
My modules are the 2008-2009 new version.
They have two MOVs instead of one, the resistors are different, have five transistors, and I am uncertain of what to do to get the conversion done.

Can anyone help me with schematics diagrams for this version or procedures to get the conversion to 220V.

Thanking in advance, any help will be most welcome!

Hi.
I have purchased three new LM465 110V modules:

Change C1 (blue) from 0.22uF/250V to 0.1uF/400V.
Change R1  to 220 Ohm/1W.
Change the 130V MOV to a 250V MOV.
The triac is already  BTA10-600

These modifications work

Could you tell me anything about the new TM751?

Regards.
