I just installed my first two wall switch modules (WS467). They are both outdoor incandescent porch lights. One switch per light. One is not working and the other lights up gradually, like a dimmer switch being turned up.
When I removed the old switches they had a single black wire to the top screw and a black wire that was looped around the lower screw and then carried on out of the box.
Anyone want to give me a quick lesson on how to install these things.
Thanks

The gradual light up is normal. It is the "Soft Start" feature that extends bulb life. The X10 two wire wall switches will only work with incandescent bulbs. The switch that does not work, will it work when you push switch button? Is the ON-OFF slider under the button in the ON position? Do you have an incandecent bulb (not CFL or LED) in the fixture?
1. try switching the blue and black wire connections.
2. Try swapping switches.

Thanks for the reply Dave! I figured it out. I just read about the soft start. My previous system years ago did not have this. The one that wasn't working was because the light bulb had blown somewhere in the process. Must have been when I kicked the breaker back on. I should have checked the bulb before I posted. DUH!!!

Hey, glad I got it right. Every once in a while the blind pig finds the truffle...or something like that.
