Title: Reference for older RS P'n P modules

I was looking for the instructions for the old Burglar Alarm Interface from Radio Shack.
You know...the flash module with the 3 Mode selects that no one ever remembers?
Yeah...That one!

Well, I found a Radio Shack supported site and it had detailed instructions for the various
settings / modes as well as many other devices.

Thought it might serve as a reference so get it while you can. ;)

You mean the PowerFlash?  I just bought some of these last year.

Yep, the same. They are great for interfacing low voltage objects like doorbells, door openers / closers,
water detectors, and such.

Back in the day (way back) around when a lot of the modules were still called BSR, Radio Shack had their
own line of "Plug 'n Power" modules as did Sears and several others.

My 28 year old "Burglar Alarm Interface" still works fine! It is, as you mentioned, a Power Flash module!

Black and Decker Freewire Modules where also an OEM from X10.
The Freewire had one nice touch. The settings dials has knobs for easy setting of the addresses.

I've read many posts from users still using the old brown BSR units (before my day). I have Radio Shack, Freewire, RCA, and Black & Decker.

Is my fuzzy memory correct? Were there Heatkit or maybe Heath/Zenith X10 modules also?

I think your memory is correct. I also remember X10 making: Magnavox, RCA, Stanley, NuTone, and GE rebranded modules (X10 made the GE Homeminder - the stand alone predesessor to the CM11 which connected to the TV for the user interface).
