Model number of PLC would be a big help.

Yeah its a Powerlinc V2 2414u running on a Synology DS209j NAS

Code: [Select]
DiskStation> cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor       : 0
cpu             : 82xx
revision        : 1.4 (pvr 8081 1014)
bogomips        : 176.12
chipset         : 8245
vendor          : Synology Inc.
machine         : MPC824X

Code: [Select]
DiskStation> uname -a
Linux DiskStation 2.6.24 #959 Fri Nov 13 05:27:42 CST 2009 ppc unknown

It comes with no kernel headers/modules. The only thing offered is a document on Synology's website on how to do cross-compiling.

http://www.synology.com/us/support/3rd-party_application_integration.php

I am aware that misterhouse doesn't natively support the 2414U, but I keep hearing about things like Project Wish and this Labjack driver by Neil Cherry, etc. etc...

If this just flat out won't work, I'm up for getting another PLC/PLM.

Also, I've tried the Firecracker on my NAS, but my NAS doesn't have any loadable FTDI modules, and I have no idea how to rebuild a kernel.

If it helps any, I've gotten the GPL source and the toolchain from Synology for this NAS....
