I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can controll two PLM01 units using one controll. I would like to controll two different sets of lamps identically via only one set of buttons. (ie) turn them all on and dim as required. I have tried using the same address with mixed results. Sometimes the lights will work fine. Sometimes only one lamp will dim. The thought was that I will have to use a macro with a dummy module but I am not sure how to do this. Any advice would be appreciated.

Setting both modules to the same address is perfectly valid and will normally work fine. You probably have a weak X10 signal.

and read the sections on:
Phase coupler
Powerline noise
Signal suckers

Agreed. Now that I've installed a phase coupler/repeater (actually an XTB-IIR), my same-address lights work well most of the time. When they don't it's always due to noise or signal suckers -- which I'm working on.

I have a signal coupler installed on the hydro panel. The funny part is that all my other lights throughout the house seem to work fine. My detatched garage also works fine. But I have no filters on my noise sources. I suspect that that may be the issue.
