Title: E-mail alerts help

Hello,

I am having trouble getting e-mail alerts working.  I am running AHP 3.228 with Smart Macros, OnAlert, and MyHouse Online.  All of my modules and macros work except the e-mail portion.  My question is:  how are the e-mails supposed to be sent?  Under the E-Mail Configuration for MyHouse I see options for X10 portal or SMTP.  Where do I set up the SMTP settings??

For kicks I tried X10 Dispatcher and can receive the Test e-mail properly but am still unable to receive alerts using X10triggers.  Any ideas?

Wow!  Rather than keep trying to get the e-mail to work I found the threads below that detail an easy work around!  I guess I had seen them before but was too intimidated to give them a try.  After 5 minutes I have my e-mails working great!  Thanks to RebHawk and others for the great posts!   >!   #:)

So you using the vbs way or using email within AHP?

I'm still trying to find out how o make the email alert works here for aover a week already.
