Title: Can turn light off with remote, but not on

It's basically what the topic name is i can turn the light switch off with my remote, but i can't turn it back on. also, when i turn it on normally it shuts right back off within seconds of turning it on by itself... any ideas?

What model X10 switch and what kind of bulb is being controlled?

Do you have any other X10 devices in the system?

If it is a two wire dimmer switch it should not be used with a CFL or low voltage lights.
