Title: Soft start Lm14a solution not working
Post by: peg-leg on July 27, 2010, 01:27:34 AM
I re-identified all my WS467's as 2way LM14A lamp modules within AHP according to Boilers instructions.  At first everything worked fine.  But now none of the lights will turn on using my HR12A remote.  The switch visibly turns on when view within AHP, but the light never comes on.  The  brightness slider remains at 0%.  I can turn on the light at this point by  using my mouse to slide the brightness level to 100%.  After this though, an off command throught HR12A switches the light off within AHP, but does not actually turn off the light.

This is very frustrating.

Anyone have a clue as to what's happening?

Thanks.

The WS467 will come on at the same  brightness level as when they were previously turned off. So if they become dimmed down to a non luminous level and then turned off, they will come back on but not look like they are on. Try brightening them.

Thanks for the info everyone. I checkedhe brightness settings beforehand and that didn't seem to be the problem.

I updatedthe interface which solved the issue.  I called X10 tech support and got a second level support specialist.  He was aware of the WS467 issue and ask that I email a copy of my current setup for review.  He also asked that I email him a second copy if/when the problem happens again.

I'll any useful info along.

Thanks!
