Mount each motion detector on or very close to its own transceiver.
I use 3 MS units and 3 AM's for my project..
I could use House A1,B1,C1 for the MS16a's and the same with AM's.
While I am at it, I could integrate a battery charger for the AAA's.

I'm kind'a there already.
I had a couple of RR501s, and I found a cheap TM751.
So I have them near by the motion senors.
And there's a CM19 upstairs too.
In my case, I guess the TM751 could be colliding with others.
But since my application is a little different, I don't think it matters in my case.
Like others have said - a better solution (albeit more $ in my case) may have been one of those aftermarket, non-X10 universal transceivers.

I bought one of these and never looked back! Amazing range! And no I don't work for the company. You won't be disappointed. You can do a search on this forum and also see what other users say. But as for me, I have no problems with motion sensor distance anymore. Just my 2 cents. :)

That is probably a very good transceiver.
In my situation, I need 3 sensors.
This solution which evolved today is cheap, convenient, and should be reliable:
3 SM16a's mounted directly on 3 TM751's.

Just bear in mind that multiple 751s can be problematic.

Oh S*&T nooooooo!
What problems if set on different House, etc?
-
Normally no problems if they are on different house codes.
If two motion sensors triggered at the exact time the TM751s could step on each others power line signals.

Another thought.
If you mount a sensor on a TM and if you remove the antenna, most probably no other TM would receive the same signal.
In addition, the probability of widely separated sensors simultaneously detecting motion is very small.
BTW When I opened a TM751 to snip a relay wire, I noticed that a copper pad was not in direct contact with the antenna.

Yes The signal is capacitive coupled from the antenna for your protection.
The Power Supply in it is directly connected to the AC power Line. Many X10 modules have the Live Power Line as common for their power supplies.
A big or harmful shock potential would exist on the metal antenna if it was directly connected to the internal receiver.
