I searched hard enough and now I'm going to come right out and ask:
My socket rocket that I programmed with AHP (Chime, etc.) works great in the same room as AHP (attic floor). I even have it running with a macro for a motion sensor. That's where the fun stops. Any other fixture in the house it does not work. Taking the lamp that it works in to any other receptacle in the house does not work.
-The Tranceiver is plugged directly into a wall receptacle.
-My Tranceived house code has ben set to specific and the module matches.
The odds are pretty good that with the different receptacles and light fixtures I tried, I would have gotten at least one on the same phase ( though I should double check)
I don't have any 240V appliances in the house, so a plug in phase coupler is out of the question. I don't have a problem coupling at the panel, I just don't want to waste the time and money if I don't need to. Come to think of it, I do have 240Vspace heater wires that I need to land anyway...
So, Phase, Range or what?
Any guesses would be great,
Thanks,
Paul
EDIT:I just realized this is in the wrong section. Reason being, coming through from a search engine it gives you the option of "help & troubleshooting" which brings me to AHP H&TS. Anyway, feel free to move me.

If your phases aren't coupled than you need to keep all your X10 devices on the same phase or else it just plain wont work.
You can also start by mapping out your electrical wiring in your house to found out what receptacle/light is on what breaker. That way you can try to keep all your computer and A/v equipment off the same circuit (opposite phase if not coupled would be best) as the X10 devices.
Before you can use X10 in this modern world you really need a good infrastructure in place.
I've mapped my breakers
I've bought an XTB-IIR phase coupler/repeater
I've bought an XTBM signal meter
I've put X10 filters on all my non-x10 computers and a/v devices
and now I can play :)%

Brandt covered it quite nicely.
If you have not had a chance to read the excellent troubleshooting tutorials by Jeff Volp and the Uncle Phill tutorials they may give you more help.

Lots of good information here also.
