Title: my works
Post by: dbemowsk on October 24, 2010, 10:38:13 AM
I am working on some changes to my business that is going to affect things such as my website and my RemoteWatch X10 software.

I am working to shift my business to doing some website design and custom PHP programming, so I haven't had much time lately to keep up with stuff in here..  With that I have created a new front to my website  www.phpwebscripting.com (http://www.phpwebscripting.com/).  My old site that I had posted my RemoteWatch X10 software and my somewhat popular article on modifying the VT38A floodcam has moved.  The new link for this is www.phpwebscripting.com/phpwebsite/ (http://www.phpwebscripting.com/phpwebsite/).  If anyone other than the site here had links to my article or my software, you may want to update them

This does not mean that I am going to stop updates to the RemoteWatch X10 software, but updates will be less frequent since I am developing this for free.  There have been some that have asked about a manual or instructions for the software.  shuggins, one of the visitors of this site has offered to work on a manual for me and help a bit in the testing/development of the software.  He too has mentioned that his life has taken over a bit, but we still haven't given up completely.  I am still not sure when I will have a new release to the software, but I will keep you posted.

Another note.

I have been working this morning going through the topics where I have information posted from my old website to update the links so they point to the correct content.  If anyone finds anything that I haven't updated, send me a PM with a link to the topic so I can get it fixed.

Thanks for being patient.

I just finished writing my first PHP web application for my computer science degree final project. I wish you were on my team to do all the coding because I knew nothing when I started...still don't  :'

brandt, do you know any programming?  knowing other programming languages is an advantage when learning PHP or any other language for that matter.
