Title: Solved: Help, Installed VA12A now AHP won't start

Edit:  upgraded to 3.296, AHP started working.  Then found out I didn't have high speed USB.  Quick trip the BestBuy solved that.  Camera is working now. The picture is a little dark though.  It's an XX16A.

Just got my first camera. Ninja pan and tilt with xx16a.  I have AHP with Iwatchout plug in installed.  I also have a CM15A.  AHP has worked up to this point.  Multiple macros and modules.  I had to download the VA12A driver from X10.com first because my computer would never recognize the new hardware.  After I did the install, AHP would no longer start.

Using XP on a P4 desktop.
Current ver of AHP is 3.228.

It's been a while since I have used an older version of the software, but at some point around 3.228 or 3.236 VA12A support was added.
You are running an older version of AHP, I would try installing the latest version, 3.296 from here:

http://www.x10.com/support/support_soft1.htm

J.B. is correct.  I believe you need to be running AHP version 3.271 or above for the VA12A to work properly.
