Title: My House OnLine
Post by: save on November 21, 2010, 02:27:51 PM
Dear Sir,

I bought to "The Home Automation Store" the My House On line software for AHP.
I had  AHP with SamrtMacros registered. After I install My House Online, just appears this
software module as registered.

Now, when Active Home Pro is initialized,  It aks me for the regitration
code for AHP and Smart Macros,  why??

Is it  to make me buy the AHP and smartMacro?  Is it a swindle ?

Thanks. save

What home automation store?
Provide a link!
Are you using the North American version of AHP or the European version?
Did you recieve a registration numbers via email?

Hello,

I had European version 3.274.  I didnīt know there were 2 different versions.
When I Installed the "my house on line" software, the version changed to 3.296

Is not possible install this software over european version??

Thanks for your answer.

The European AHP does not need or use a registration number.
When you installed My House Online it most likely installed a US version which does need a registration number.

Mixing the US plugins with the European AHP may lead to problems. As the European AHP has different features than ours does.

OK.

I have read the conversation you have with an Australian people. I think  it's the same  problem with
versions. The European doesnīt  support these software modules and an automatic upgrade changed my
AHP to the american one, without  registration.

I understand I must register it.

At the moment Macros and timers run OK with the european CM15. But I'm not able to connect by remote.

I try the connection from the same LAN:

The status window  in the remote user stays hanged with the message: Waiting for System "3F738AF50B"

The status window  in the SERVER stays " Waiting for remote users"

I have tested the user name and password and itīs OK. Also the Access Id: 3F738AF50B

What do you think is the problem??

By other side, is it possible making a direct connection knowing the IP PORT address  that the "Active Home Pro" uses??

Thanks
