Title: New user startup question

I have had x10 in my house for about 10 years. I had the radio shack controller. Did recent home remodel and can not find controller. Decided to purchase the activehome pro & active phone package. Here is where I'm at now:

Downloaded the active home and active phone linked software sent to me in an email.
Started activehome and entered registration code, but could not also enter the active phone reg code
started active home and went to the tool pull-down menu.
I see the invite cell phone menu item as an inactive option (can not select).

Now, I will say, I have not received the usb control module in themail yet.

I'm wondering if the activehome pro will only allow selection of the invite cell phone menu item only when the usb controller is recognized by the software, or
did I do something wrong by not entering both registration codes when  I first activated software?

I tried to see if I could open the registration dialog box and enter the activephone code, but it will not allow me.

Any insight would be welcome

I recently bought Activephone and it actually replaces your AHP installation.
After I installed it, I had to register activehome. It didn't even give me an option to register
Activephone.

Thanks. I guess I'll wait until the USB controller shows up and see what magical things come to life...
