Title: WS12A not dimming
Post by: tidan3 on January 12, 2011, 07:02:09 PM
Hello,

I installed the light WS12A. The dimmer works on the light. However, on the computer, I only turn it on or off. Dimming does not work.

Do you have any advice?

Thanks

Are you using AHP? You didn't indicate what you where using on the computer.

What revision of AHP do you have?

The WS12A is soft start and with the older versions you had to call it a LM15A.

The latest AHP should take care of the soft start unless you used the older style lamp module choice in AHP.
3.303 is the latest.

Do you have any other controllers such as Palm Pad/TM751 tranceiver,  you could use to confirm switch dimming operation when commanded through the powerline? It's about the only way to isolate a switch problem from a software problem. What powerline interface are you using?

Also you might try "Xtension" from www.shed.com. I think you can down load a free trial.
