Post by: LAD on February 11, 2011, 06:59:31 PM
I have a question. I have a slimline switch ss13a and it has a dim/brighten button on the bottom..how to u get this to work..I was trying to use it with lm15a-com socket rocket and the tm751 transceiver but when i asked how to use the dim function, i was told that i couldn't with any socket rocket..Is that true ? If so , then what can i use it with? Why are the buttons there ?

The LM15A Socket Rocket does not dim. It is strictly On and Off.
That is the design of the LM15A Socket Rocket and has nothing to do with the controller being used to control it.
The bright and dim buttons on the SS13A will not do anything with a LM15A Socket Rocket.

The Bright and Dim buttons are there for X10 modules like the WS467, WS12A dimmer type wall switches; the LM465 Lamp Modules and the SL575 socket module that does dim. That is if you can still find the SL575s.

You should be able to program the LM15A Socket Rocket to the address of one of the On Off button sets on the SS13A and turn it On and Off. You just can't dim it.
