I have a socket rocket on my back porch light. It was working perfectly as I had programed it, until the other day. I think my 4 y/o grand daughter turned the switch off. So, when I realized the light wasn't on, I checked and turned the wall switch back on. (not an x-10switch) Now, the only way to get that light on or off is by the wall switch. How can I restore it to the way it is suppose to work? I tried it in another lamp socket with the same results as the socket on the back porch.
Gone crazy....back in 10 minutes.

I just had a similar experience and the forum consensus was that the circuitry in the socket rocket has been compromised, ie fried, so that is always on when power is applied. My issue was probably caused by "cheap" bulbs that "pop" when they burn out. Once I replaced the module with a new one all is well again using brand name bulbs only - until the next time!!!!

Generally speaking stuck on means fried.
