Title: Timer issues
Post by: Dannys2000 on April 13, 2011, 09:28:38 AM
Hi,
I just got a AHP starter kit. It crashes when I run intro wizard at timer stage. Also timer does not work. Has anyone had this issue and what is the solution?
Thanks

The macro and timers parts of the Introduction Wizard have bugs and will not run for many users.
Have you tried making a macro or timer directly and not through the Wizard?
What version of AHP do you have. 3.310 is the latest.
Did your AHP setup come with the CM15A USB interface or the CM19A interface and TM751 transceiver?

What X10 modules are you trying to control?
X10 has so many different combinations. It helps if we know what you have.

The crashing bug in the Intro Wizard has been added to the Bug List. I let the developers know about it, but I haven't heard anything back from them yet.

Noam; Thanks for the confirmation on it being added to the bug report.

You can see the Bug List here:

A number of bugs from the list have been fixed in the past few updates (I've moved those to the bottom, and marked them as fixed). Several others were *supposed* to have been fixed (per the developers), but I don't have the right parts to test them myself. I haven't gotten any feedback from other users on most of them, however. If you see any that you can test, please let me know.

The kit includes CM15A and LM465 which I am testing right now. I am able to manually turn on LM465 from AHP. I wrote a simple macro with a delay and was able to turn it on. From Timer Designer I am not able to turn on the LM465. Am I missing something in Timer Designer?

I think I solved the problem.
After I made changes to the timer settings, I downloaded to the controller and it worked.
