I just purchased the X10 SC 1200 security system. During testing, I see that while the console can make outgoing calls when alarm is triggered, it does not answer on incoming call. I use Vonage for phone service. I have connected the console directly to Vonage adapter. The phone system works fine but the SC 1200 does not pick up any incoming call even after 1 minute of ringing. Is there some setting that needs to be done?

Please ignore this question. I forgot about the ANSWER delay in the manual. Setting the ANSWER delay to a low value fixed the problem.
Well it eventually would have answered unless you have an answering machine picking up first.
Yes that is correct and learned it after some experimentation, working on each item, one at a time.
