Title: Dimming issue
Post by: AyaMalak on June 02, 2011, 06:38:49 PM
I have LM465 module lamp, Socket Rocket LM15A, Mini tranceiver TM751 and palmPa Remote ctrl HR12A, everything working fine except the dimming, I'm not able to use dimming.

Do I need to use a different module?
I want to buy more stuff for home, however I need first to know if i can use dimming with what I have as modules now.

Thanks

The LM15A Socket Rocket does not dim. Only does On and Off.
You should be able to dim and brighten the LM465 Lamp Module with the HR12A through the TM751.
If you turn the LM465 On or Off. Then use the dim or brighten button on the HR12A. Can you then control the LM465?
The LM465 will not brighten or dim until it has been addressed. Like a LM465 on maybe A2 will not follow bright and dim commands if the last module addressed was A3.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for your prompt reply.

I tried what you said, but it didn't work because I forgot to remove the Socket from the lamp. once removed, the dim worked as you explained.

Thanks so much.

Now, I can think to another buy :)

Please clarify.
Did you have a LM15A Socket Rocket screwed into a lamp controlled by a LM456 Lamp Module?

That's what I read.  Very strange.  The only time I have a Socket Rocket screwed into a lamp is when I'm programming it.  NEVER in a lamp controlled by a LM465.
