I've had X10 lamp modules, a remote, and transceiver module in my bedroom for about 9 years. Occasionally the lamp modules have been flaky, but I was able to get them working by resetting them. Recently, my lights stopped turning on/off completely. I could still turn on the light connected to the transceiver module using the on/off button, so I thought it might be a battery issue with the remote. New batteries didn't change the situation, and shortly afterwards, I couldn't even turn on the light plugged into the transceiver module using the on/off button. Does this mean my transceiver module died? Are there any troubleshooting steps I should check, or should I just buy a new TM?
I haven't introduced any new electronics into my bedroom/house recently.
My equipment/set-up:
Transceiver Module TM751
2 Lamp Modules LM465
Remote Control HR12A
2 bedside table lights plugged into LMs
Overhead light on remote
On light plugged directly into TM
Thanks for your replies/suggestions/help.

At nine years in service it could be any of the modules getting old.
The fact that the local On Off button on the TM751 does not work. Points to the TM751 failing.
