I have a VA11A video capture that I just can't get to work on my computer. I'm running windows 7. I went to the website and downloaded the drivers and vanguard software and still no luck. When I have it connected and I try running the vanguard software I get a error message saying that the VA11A isn't detected. Even though I installed the driver. Any ideas? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks Mike

According to the X10 knowledgebase. The VA11A is not compatible with Windows 7.

Brian's right. I confirmed with X10 that the VA11A is not compatible with Windows 7 at all.
You will need to get a VA12A to use it with Windows 7.
