Title: AHP camera flicker
Post by: Skinner on July 25, 2011, 11:25:53 PM
I cant seam to get all 4 xx32A working well 1 is color. They all worked when hooked up to the TV alone and they worked once when hooked up to AHP in the same room. But when moved to location the flicker started and lost video the next day.

New 900 MHz system.

Try one camera at a time. In the locations where they are installed, by unplugging the other three cameras power supplies.
If each works alone but not when more than one is powered up. You may have a power line signal problem as only one camera can be on at a time. If the addressable power supplies are not seeing the On and Off signals. More than one maybe stepping on each other.
You do have all four cameras on the same House Code and in the same Unit Code Group of 1-4,5-8,9-12 or 13-16?
Anything else in the setup? Like remotes or transceivers?

I haven't seen the problem myself, but that sounds like the "video flicker" issue that AHP had recently.
What version of AHP are you running?
AHP version 3.316 (released 7/1/2011) fixed a bug that would cause video flicker when only using one video input device (VA11A or VA12A).
If you are on a prior version, you can download 3.316 here:

yup and with version 3.318, the flicker, on camera, it's back again.
Might be video board issue. The system that does this for me has a pretty good video board, fast, used for gaming, it's and intel processor 1gb ram,

I've got one camera and AHP 3.318.  The video flicker is pretty bad.

Try backing up to AHP 3.310 and see what happens.
