Title: How Do I Delete An Empty Room?
Post by: Squirrel1162 on September 03, 2011, 03:06:37 PM
While trying to create a new room, my computer hiccuped  :) and kicked me off of AHP.  The room has no name and I can't edit or delete it.  Any suggestions?

You can edit the .ahx file to remove the room.  Go to x:\program files\activehome pro and locate the .ahx you load at AHP startup.  Make a backup of this file before doing anything else.  Once that's done open the file with notepad.exe and delete the corresponding lines for the unwanted room that begin with <room t=......> and ends with </room>.  Save the file under another name with the .ahx extension.  Start AHP and open the new file and everything should be ok.

My old computer "hiccuped" twice and killed both hard drives, so have new HP PC and s-l-ow-l-y getting things running.
