Title: help programming LM15a
Post by: nabril15 on October 14, 2011, 09:47:08 AM
good morning
I am trying to program a new LM15a with a new code using my MT13A, but it wont register.
I have the lamp (with incadescent bulb) plugged into the same outlet as the MT13A. I turned on the default code of 1, and the light came on, so I know the LM15A works fine.

any suggestions? Sure I can use code 1, but I want to give it another number. And I may use a couple of LM15's and I dont want them all as code 1.

Thanks

You have about thirty seconds to reprogram it after you first apply power.
So in a table lamp and MT13A in the same outlet. Turn On the table Lamps switch and using the MT13As button of choice. Send an ON three or more times.

yeap. tried that. followed directions.
turned lamp on, and within seconds, pressed 6-ON on the MT13a 3 times, but nothing. Tried 7 and 8 and same result.
I used a different lamp, and it worked. I pressed ON 3 times, and then OFF and then the light came on.
Hmm.

Thanks Brian

The lamp in question doesn't have a built in dimmer switch does it?
