I just powered up my new x-10 tablet.
I attempted to install the Amazon App as instructed by the online manual and in the user groups. When I click the download link I receive the error message
"NO SD CARD" SD Card Required to download Amazon App
With 8 GB of onboard memory it should be able to download the Amazon App.
I have also attempted to download other 3rd party App stores such as Appbrain.com with no luck.
My question is, is my tablet defective because it will not download with out the SD Card, or does the Tablet require the SD card rendering the 8 GB of storage space useless?

You are welcome for providing you with an update.
I'm getting a little frustrated, I can't seem to get an answer. I've been on hold with Tech support never to reach a person. I've sent e-mails and posted on this forum with no real answers. I have even used the online chat and no one as of yet has responded to the chat.
Please advise

Unfortunately we may not have an answer for you.
Almost all of the members here are end users or volunteers helping others.
Though rarely an X10 representative may post an answer.
Some here say posting on the X10 Facebook Pages gets better responses.
If there are any other AirpadX owners they maybe able to give you data from what theirs does.
