Title: Hardware Interface Configuration
Post by: Squirrel1162 on February 01, 2012, 08:14:57 PM
When I try to activate any module from my PC, the module (like a light switch) shows it is turning on, but in actuality, the light is not coming on.  I looked at the Hardware Interface Configuration and saw that the Interface Time was: 1/1/1601 0:00 AM.  I thought that maybe there had been a software or maybe even a hardware error  I closed AHP and restarted it.  Same results.  Has anyone had this same problem?  If so, how was it resolved?  Thanks.

1. Check and verify that your system time and time zone are correct in Windows.
2. Make sure your location is correct in AHP.
3. Unplug the CM15A from the wall, unplug the USB cable, remove the batteries, and wait a few minutes.
4. Put in fresh batteries, plug everything back in, clear the interface memory in AHP, and re-download.
5. Check the Interface time again.

does this light turn on and off with any kind of remotes ?

can you test the module without the CM15A?

Just to make sure that the module is working properly and to check if you don`t have a transmission problem (phase coupling or noise)

let us know

I unplugged the interface, waited several minutes, replaced the batteries and plugged everything back in.  Downloaded to the interface.  Same results.  Speaking of the interface, it is very slow to download.  Takes several minutes.  I even restarted AHP.  I am going crazy.  (Short trip for me (LOL)).  Would deleting the entire program and starting over rectify my problem?  Or,  is there a particular part of the AHP program I can delete and start over?  I can turn lights on/off with my MT13A Mini Timer and HR12A PalmPad.

Perhaps your CM15A has gone bad.
You might be able to eliminate the software installation as an issue if you have another computer you can test it on.
