I have installed AHP on my Windows 7. Previously used AH on my Windows XP. With either computer AH (XP) and AHP (7) the download runs to completion.
It is very slow on the XP but runs to completion. The problem I am having is that no lights turn on. I know all my settings are correct because I can turn on/off with my remote either one unit at a time or all at once. Both were working as programmed, but suddenly stopped. I want to switch permanently to AHP on the Win7 and still use the CM11A. Anybody got a clue where I am going wrong?

What version of AHP are you running?
-
Ver 3.318

Run everything from the computer...does it work then?

You may want to do some searching the forums.
Others are having issues with AHP and the CM11A.

I have tried to turn all lights on and off from the computer with no success.

OK let's clairify. Your CM11 is plugged in same outlet an d everything ran fine with AH and XP, but you switched to AHP and Windoze 7 and now nothing works manually or automatically from the computer...is that right?
What is happening on the AHP Activity Monitor - does AHP "think" its working?

Above is correct. The AHP Activity Monitor shows some activity up until April 10. Now I can't even get the Hardware Configuration to show the battery status. I put new batteries in and restarted AHP and I checked the electrical outlet, it was OK. No result. I don't know if there is a way to check the serial cable to the CM11A. The COM port and USB/SERIAL cable appear to be OK. I had planned on using the CM11A rather than the CM15A because I don't want to leave my computer on and connected all the time. Maybe I should consider getting a new CM11A and cable. Any advice will be welcomed.

FWIW
The CM11A only has 1K (yes that is a "K" not an "M") of memory. I contend the CM11A does not actually "download and store" an AHP program. I have not used a CM11A for ages, and I do not use AHP but everytime someone "downloads" the AHP macros to CM11A, things do not work. I think CM11A/AHP needs to be run from the computer. Would be nice if X10 Repair Depot would clairify.

Does moose2024 have a CM15A or the X10 substitute for it? If it's the CM19A/TM751A combine, then the PC has to be running 24/7/365.

Dave, thanks for looking at my problem. I think I might have stumbled on to something. I downloaded the file even though the batter would not reset and the lights worked as programmed. I must have a battery connection problem like dirty contacts or something.
I will research that and maybe have to replace the CM11A. Thanks again for your help.

The battery set button with a CM11A never worked for me either. In AHP.
