We have a few outdoor wireless IP net cameras set up and accessible on the network (via the web) but we would like to view/monitor/record through the IPCamClient software that came with the CD.
The software works on a desktop (Win7, 64 bit) but on my server (08R2) the software will not connect to the cameras. They show up in the list to connect with all the info, but after I select 'connect' the window for the picture remains black and states 'Can't connect the device'.
Any ideas? Firewall is off, and I can see a picture if I remote into the cameras via IE or Firefox.
