Is it an "Airsight" camera? I'm sure some of the network and IP experts can help in generic terms, although I think most of the expertise here will be about trying to get X10 Airsight cameras set up. Did you try Googling the brand and model of your camera to see if there is specific information available?
In other words "my camera don't play" isn't much to go on.

You have not given us the IP cameras X10 model number.
If it is not an X10 model what is it?

There is additional help for IP cameras in the X10 Wiki.
Maybe they can give you some added information.

I am not sure how far you got into the setup so reset the camera to factory setting by plugging in the camera's power (but not the LAN wire). When it finishes initializing, then press and hold the reset button on the bottom of the camera for 30 seconds. Once the LED on the front of the camera illuminates, then release the reset button - that indicates that the camera has been reset.

Now connect the camera to the wired LAN. The software that you downloaded should include the "IP camera tool". Run this utility and you should be able to locate the camera.
