Title: appliance module and LED drivers
Post by: frankman12 on December 13, 2012, 11:05:44 AM
I'm trying to control some LED drivers that draw about 3 2.5 amps and the appliance modules come back on after about 8 seconds after turning off.

Your appliance modules maybe old enough to have Local Control Sensing.
Is there a small white round sticker on the back. With a Date Code on it?

Adding a 4 watt incandescent night light bulb to the output usually calms thing down.
Some have used a 33K Ohm 1 watt resistor on the output. That requires you to know how to do such things with out making a shock or fire hazard.

There is modifications on some web sites to disable the sensing current.

They only are for the older before CFL Friendly ones where released.
