hi for all , i want make now a irrigation control only for one zone , my wife have 6 plant and i want put irrigation timers , so i have two schematic , i dont know what is better
one schematic ...
appliance module - transformer 24 v - water valve ------------> here , only have power when i turn on the module
second schematic
transformer 24 v - universal module - water valve --------- here always have power the transformer
for me is better first schematic , because the transfomer never have power , only when send signal to appliance module .... i dont know if that schematic is correct , i need help for the opinion of you need to decide

Both would work.
I would also say the Appliance Module switching the transformers AC Power On and Off is a good way to go.

I also would go with the appliance module as my preferred route.

I'm pretty sure that the appliance module will be a cheaper route than the universal module, too.
